Both of our slaughter houses are equipped with new machinery focused on reducing the pig stress for keeping the quality of the meat.The new and highly automatic system allows us to reduce the intestine contamination to less than a 1%.
When the pigs arrive to our facilities they have a shower and two hours time to relax from the trip before being slaughtered. The slaughter process is done by CO2 and without any stress in order to have the best quality.
The slaughterhouses are certified with IS9001, ISO 14001 and Traceability Certification of Calitex.We are able to follow the traceability of every single pig from the beginning. |
